for your interest in learning a little about me.
My
name is Hayley Justice and I live on beautiful Phillip
Island in south eastern Victoria, Australia.
Craft and sewing have only been a part of my life
since my first child came along and I was encouraged
to have a go at making baby clothes. I surprised myself
with my creativity as I'd always thought sewing wasn't
my thing...I flunked sewing at school! Over the next
few years I learned Embroidery and Patchwork and made
clothes for all three of my children. I also made
and sold kids outfits through a local kidswear shop.
I made my first bear in 1999, when the Patchwork group
I was attending decided to have a Teddy Bear Making
workshop . From that very first bear, I was hooked,
and during the next few years I lost count of the
number of bears I made. The Patchwork went out the
window....you can only have so many quilts...but you
can never have enough bears!!
